Five questions for dail eireann candidates

1) What do you think should be done to discourage people from using cars? Do you think that rail travel in this country is too expensive? Do you think that there should be more trains? Or are you happy to see no new rail links being built?

2) How much did you submit in expense claims in the last session? Justify your expenses.

3) Do you use public transport to get to the Dail? If not, why not, it’s not like it is far from Pearse Dart station or any of the bus stops (I am in Dublin).

4) Why should I vote for you, other than to keep you in your job? What committees are you on? Show me your dail attendance record, show me your list of questions tabled. Show me evidence of work you have done on the behalf of your constituents.

5) Do you think that Lexus and Mercedes and other top of the range luxury cars are really justified for government ministers? Why do they need such expensive cars? If you became a minister in the morning, would you want a luxury car? Why?
